*Description:*
The employee in these positions work under the direction and guidance of the Community Corrections Field Supervisor.
This position is responsible for manning and performing the daily operations of the Community Service Program.
They will assist in development, coordination, and implementation of all Community Service work activities including all aspects of day-to-day program operations.
Employees are expected to demonstrate effective participation as outlined within the Community Corrections Team Rules.
(Attached).
The position will work a schedule 5/8’s which may include working weekends.
*Requirements:*
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age or older at time of appointment.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of people, under strict time constraints.
- Ability to operate and maintain hand and power tools.
- Must have the ability to work out of doors in extreme weather conditions.
- Must possess a valid drivers’ license.
