Job Summary Manages and directs the day to day activities of the following departments Stabilization, Disposal, FO39 leachate Tank Farm # 4, Wheel Wash Facility, Bulk Sampling, FO39 leachate Biological Waste Water Treatment, Arsenic Treatment, Macro-encapsulation and oversee landfill construction by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Other minor duties may be assigned.
Ensures that EPA, State agencies, RCRA, TSCA, and DOT Regulations are followed.
Prepares annual budget for each department Maintains cost controls by taking appropriate corrective action when cost are not within acceptable limits.
Puts in place and monitors programs to ensure proper waste sampling, treating and disposal.
Monitors and takes corrective action when necessary for proper management of leachate collection, storage, and disposal.
Monitors progress and completion of capital projects in areas of responsibility.
Develops personnel and equipment requirements for new or improved operating processes.
Ensures personnel are properly trained on health and safety matters, as well as proper procedures for waste treatment, tracking and disposal.
Monitors for compliance with Corporate and Facility safety and compliance regulations and takes corrective action when needed.
Reference site-specific procedures and more detailed site-specific job descriptions.
Performing other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of supervisory employees.
This includes: Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the Stabilization, Disposal, Wheel Wash Facility, Bulk Sampling, FO39 leachate Biological Waste Water Treatment, Arsenic Treatment and Macro-encapsulation departments.
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Direct supervision of _ full-time employees, including: _ Indirect supervision of _ full-time employees.

Education and Experience Education: Bachelor�s degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.
