Job Responsibilities/Duties
Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) is looking for a Health Physics Supervisor that supports planning and execution of Production Operations RadCon, and provides leadership for ensuring radiological compliance in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, and meeting all Radiological Control requirements.
The individual will supervise HPT's and ensure sound radiation protection practices are accomplished in support of activities for Tank Farm Production Operations activities.
Provides leadership for ensuring the requisite level of conduct of operations, safety management program implementation, and radiological compliance in the planning and execution of these activities.
Provides radiological control leadership and coordination for major project activities supporting accomplishment of critical milestones.
Plans/executes multiple, complex field activities with a demonstrated record of successful schedule execution.
Conducts pre-job briefings, enhanced work planning meetings (EWPs) and lessons learned.
Implements company programs for Radiological Control.
Implements and supports the Integrated Safety Management System.
Supports worker involvement in safety and process improvement programs.
Conducts management observations and assessments for safety, RadCon and procedural compliance.
Supports the WRPS ALARA program.
Accountable for the safety of workers, the public and the environment.

Required Qualifications
Grade 18:
Bachelors (BA/BS) degree in related field and 8 years' radiological control experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Grade 19:
Bachelors (BA/BS) degree in related field and 9 years' radiological control experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
- NRRPT certification is desirable.
- Previous Supervisory experience in radiological control (DOE facility) preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Grade 18:
Hiring Range Minimum: $104,175
Hiring Range Maximum: $131,425
Grade 19:
Hiring Range Minimum: $114,475
Hiring Range Maximum: $144,325
