Position Title: Client Service Representative Employee Status: Non-exempt Job Summary: Join our team as a Client Service Representative (CSR), where you'll play a crucial role in representing our practice/hospital.
Your responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, maintaining records, and ensuring exceptional client service.
Job Expectations: - Client Communication: Professionally communicate medical information, fees, and policies.
- Telephone Skills/Etiquette: Utilize proper business telephone etiquette and proficiently operate equipment.
- Work Ethic: Strive for excellence, efficiently complete tasks, and maintain consistent workload.
- Attendance/Dependability: Consistently on time, rarely absent, and communicates any schedule changes promptly.
- Animal Handling: Handle patients safely and compassionately.
- Computer Input/Invoicing: Utilize Shepherd for accurate record-keeping and invoicing.
- Desire to Expand Skills: Demonstrate a desire to learn and take on new tasks.
- Productivity: Produce quality work, help others, and meet deadlines.
- Coworker Relations: Foster positive communication, address issues promptly, and cooperate with team members.
- Attitude: Enthusiastic, adaptable, and focused on solutions.
- Organization/Time Management: Prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Knowledge of Services Provided: Understand and effectively communicate the services offered.
- Follows Core Values/Mission & Vision: Adhere to the hospital's values and mission consistently.
- Following Safety Guidelines: Prioritize safety and follow all relevant guidelines.
Essential Duties: - Greet visitors and assist patient owners.
- Answer phones, relay messages, and handle client payments.
- Use email, Weave, and walkie-talkies for communication.
- Maintain lobby supplies and cleanliness.
- Update client information and client forms.
- Assist in handling appointments, surgeries, and euthanasia procedures.
- Escort and assist owners to their cars.
- Room appointments and facilitate client communication with technical and doctor staff.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Proficient in standard office equipment and software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks independently.
- Ability to work well with the public.
Education/Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of customer service experience.
Physical and Environmental Requirements: - May lift up to 40 lbs.
- Active movement throughout the day.
- Finger dexterity for computer use and equipment operation.
Salary Range: $16.
50 - $18.
00 per hour, greater than 35 hours per week (annual average), qualifies for full benefits after 90 days of employment.
