Occupational Therapist

Rehabilitation Management Associates (RMA) is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full time (36+ hours per week) position in Baker City! This position will be a combination of inpatient and orthopedic (hands) outpatient therapy located at Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) beautiful eastern Oregon clinic.
The ideal candidate would be an Occupational Therapist with 2 years experience who has an interest in pediatrics and inpatient/swing bed services.

* American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
* Two to Three year's ortho outpatient experience preferred.

* Must understand all basic Occupational therapy skills and be able to perform them accurately; must demonstrate good evaluation and observation skills for strength assessment, gait analysis, equipment recommendations, home evaluations, and range of motion assessment.
* Must be proficient in the application of modalities and procedures used in physical medicine.
* Ability to apply an adequate knowledge of anatomy, function, and structure.
* Cognizant of safety standards in healthcare.
* Must demonstrate professional interpersonal communication and conduct.
* Ability to accurately complete documentation in timely manner.
* Detail oriented with advanced knowledge of computer systems and documentation systems.
EPIC knowledge a PLUS! * Must have organizational, time management skills and the ability to problem-solve.
