The Health Unit Coordinator/ Nursing Assistant – Certified: works primarily as the primary clerical support person to nursing, aiding in the transcriptions of orders, scheduling tests and treatments with ancillary departments, retrieving/ filing test results and reports, directing visitors, maintaining records/ files, answering and directing phone calls and performing other clerical duties as required.
As needed, this position also works in the capacity of Nursing Assistant, performing direct and indirect patient care, treatment and maintenance of the nursing unit.

EDUCATION
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Post high school training preferred
Population Specifics: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population served
Required Certification: Certified as a NAC in WA State, Current American Heart Association BLS.
Experience: Relevant office and/or medical experience.
Medical Terminology.
Proficient use of computer and other office equipment required.
Recent education or experience as an NAC.
Other: Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
Ability to work with culturally diverse population.
Salary Range: $15.
