27 Our busy Children's Clinic is in need of a positive, motivated medical support person.
Duties include patient rooming, assisting with procedures, and preparing exam rooms following established standards and practices and working within the scope of practice for licensure.
May cross train into other departments as needed.
Other tasks may be assigned.
Certification of appropriate credentials in good standing, or enrollment or acceptance in an approved Medical Assistant program with certification required upon completion.
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
Follow clinic workflows for obtaining patient information and documenting data, including pain level, behavioral health needs and learning needs using EHR.
Advocates for patient Promotes wellness and healthful behaviors Administers prescribed medications and/or treatments within scope of practice Prepares exam room, procedure room, equipment, and assists provider within scope of practice Excellent communication and professional skills
