As a certified wound care/treatment specialist, you will work with the center clinical team and, under physician orders, develop and implement a wound care/treatment plan that meets each resident’s specific needs and reflects best practices.

You will:
* Perform accurate and comprehensive wound/skin care assessments of each assigned resident.
* Develop and implement an evidence-based care plan for each wound care patient.
* Communicate patient clinical status changes to the healthcare team and physician.
* Visit in-room with staff for collaboration, education/training, evaluating competency, and performing skills checks.
* Review charts of wound care patients as assigned.
* Deliver skilled nursing care.
* Manage nursing duties on a rotating basis.
You currently:
* Possess a nursing license in the state of employment.
* Possess active wound care certification.
* Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and inform on appropriate issues.
* Maintain current wound care/treatment practices.
