As a medication aide, you assist our senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, and social-recreational activities.
You will report to the wellness director.
:
You Will:
* Complete nursing treatments and monitor residents' vital signs
* Maintain medication/treatment records, comply with regulatory, OSHA, and incident reporting guidelines.
* Communicate with physician, pharmacy, and family as indicated to assure medications are received promptly
* Store medications and equipment and keep the medication room clean and orderly.
* Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), noting changes in the resident condition.
* Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
* Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.
You Currently:
* Typical candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving or med pass.
* Can obtain CPR/BLS certification
* Compose reports in English.
