*Cameo Consulting Group, LLC*, a management consulting practice based out of Alexandria, VA, is seeking several qualified and available Contract Specialist's to support a Federal client in Richland, WA.
Full time positions are available upon award.
*General Duties:* *Contract Specialist:* * Support subcontract reviews in accordance with DOE and local guidance as requested.
* Assist with the review and process of contractor invoices in a timely fashion.
* Assist contract specialists and contracting officers.
* Assist with contract closeouts.
* Support in coordinating Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting evaluations, by scheduling technical input, and working with the Contracting Officers and Contract Specialists.
* Support correspondence creation for letters to DOE contractors, DOE Contracting Officer Representative designations – terminations, etc.
* Ensure timely and accurate compliance with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
* Assist with general day-to-day contract administration duties.
* Support of HPD actions file merging of files on websites/share drives.
* Support policy writing, developing, issuing, updating, and revising policy.
* Support review of contract actions submitted for policy compliance.
*Senior Contract Specialist Duties: * * Support the review and process Requests for Services (RFS) submittals submitted by other DOE contractors.
* Support the process of contract modifications for Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) task orders on directed work scope or reliability projects.
* Support in writing complex Pre-Negotiation Plans/Price Negotiation Memorandums, and support DOE contracting personnel in the process for negotiating large, complex, sole source contracting actions.
* Gathering information for various negotiation sessions.
* Support complex subcontract reviews in accordance with DOE and local guidance as requested.
* Gathering information for various audits/data calls.
* Support correspondence creation for letters to DOE contractors, DOE Contracting Officer Representative designations – terminations, etc.
* Assist with the review and process of contractor invoices in a timely fashion.
* Support the review and process Requests for Services (RFS) submittals submitted by other DOE contractors.
* Support the process of contract modifications for IDIQ task orders on directed work scope or reliability projects.
* Assist contract specialists and contracting officers.
* Support in coordinating Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting evaluations.
* Scheduling technical input, and working with the Contracting Officers and Contract Specialist.
*Required Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree in a Business field of study (Accounting, Economics, Management, Marketing, etc.
) * 5 years of experience in Government contracts and contract administration.
* Experience in policy preparation and policy management, evaluations, and assessments of contract documents, and quality assurance of contract administration.
* Experience in reading, interpreting, and understanding the regulations associated with the DOE, Procurement and Financial Assistance policies.
* Experience in areas of Government contract formation, administration, and contract negotiations either federal or commercial from small purchases up to $10 Million or more in value.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point * Excellent communication skills.
