We provide a continuative care environment for our residents offering Three (3) levels of care from independent living, Assisted living and skilled nursing facility care.
This position will assume many responsibilities in the Independent living sector of our community and grow into shared responsibility for more clinical areas of the Home.

Marketing and sales Assistant Job Description Department Administration Reports to EVP and VP of Marketing Reporting to this position N/A Job Classification Administrative Position Purpose Provides customer service to current and potential tenants of the Independent living community.
Completes day to day tasks regarding admission, discharge, and/or transfer of residents in accordance with local, state and federal standards and regulations, as well as established facility policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications Two (2) year experience in real estate or property management experience Knowledge of leasing agreements and contract completion Demonstrates an understanding of arithmetic.
Knowledge of insurance coverage and authorization process pertaining to long-term care is helpful.
Major Duties and Responsibilities Participates in an open and collaborative relationship between the business office and the admissions office, both working toward shared facility goals for occupancy of the Independent Living Facility (ILF), Assisted Living Facility (ALF) and Skilled Nursing Facility (FNF) and collections.
Performs duties daily in the admissions office as assigned by the EVP of Marketing to facilitate the conversion of referrals to admission status.
Knows at all times, the status of each referral.
Communicates with external team members regarding referral status and any additional information needed to assist with the admission decision.
Communicates daily with the Business Office to complete financial evaluations for potential residents and payment options including but not limited to printing of the Common Working File, printing Medicaid Eligibility, and identifying the pay status with the resident/representative prior to admitting the resident.
Knows, at all times, which payment entities require prior authorization for payment and secures prior authorization when required.
Maintains working knowledge of facility’s practices related to all pay status types such as other insurances, Medicare A, Medicaid, Private, Veteran’s Administration contracts, and hospital contracts, etc.
Assists with processing referrals timely on a daily basis as assigned by the EVP or VP of Marketing.
Ensures residents are admitted, transferred and discharged from the facility software accurately on a daily basis.
Records resident pay status changes on the facility’s internal daily census communication tool.
Records resident pay status accurately in the resident’s record at time of admission.
Behaves in a manner aligned with facility goals for occupancy and customer service.
Meets with potential residents/representatives daily and provides information about the facility.
Provides tours of the facility daily, and as requested by potential residents/representatives.
Works in a helpful and pleasant manner, daily using the telephone to communicate with families, residents, hospitals, insurance companies, etc.
