*Staff Accountant*
Eastern Oregon accounting firm has an opening for a full time Staff level accounting position with 0 to 3 years of experience in public accounting.
We are recruiting for a person that is interested in a career in public accounting with a strong desire to advance their skills and knowledge.
Our firm operates year round and provides income tax services, bookkeeping, payroll, financial statement preparation, auditing, and retirement plan services.

Desired skills and experience include:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required (advanced degree is preferred)
* Individual and business income tax experience.
* Governmental auditing experience.
* CPA or CPA candidate.
* Ability to work as a team and to make suggestions to enhance processes and procedures.
* Good judgement and decision making ability.
* Ability to analyze complex problems and to work within budgetary and time constraints.
* Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with income tax software (ProSystem FX Tax preferred)
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with auditing software and tools.
(CCH ProSystem Engagement and Checkpoint tools preferred)
* A willingness to travel, if necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.
00 - $75,000.
