Epic Trust Financial, LLC are looking for a dynamic accounting administrator to manage our growing firm’s new Spokane Office! *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing and managing payroll for our employees on a part-time basis.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
The Part-Time Payroll Specialist will collaborate with the HR team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, as well as address any payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Responsibilities: *Payroll Processing:* * Calculate and process part-time employee payroll accurately and on time.
* Verify timekeeping records and ensure accuracy of hours worked, overtime, and any special allowances.
* Process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
*Compliance:* * Stay up to date with local, state, and federal payroll regulations to ensure compliance.
* Process payroll taxes and ensure timely submission of required reports.
* Respond to any inquiries or audits related to payroll compliance.
*Record Keeping:* * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, payroll changes, and other relevant data.
* Prepare and maintain payroll reports for management and accounting purposes.
*Communication:* * Collaborate with the HR team to address employee inquiries related to payroll.
* Provide clear and timely communication regarding payroll changes, deadlines, and other relevant information to employees.
*Systems Management:* * Utilize payroll software to process payments and generate reports.
* Work with IT to troubleshoot and resolve any payroll system issues.
*Documentation:* * Prepare and maintain documentation of payroll processes and procedures.
* Create and update payroll manuals for reference by HR and other relevant departments.
*Continuous Improvement:* * Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in payroll processing.
* Implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the payroll system.
