OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION: The Human Resources Specialist is a challenging position within a dynamic professional environment.
The functions include payroll, status change, email tracking, file maintenance, and terminations.
This position requires a self-motivated, responsible team player with strong organizational skills and high integrity who is able to work independently, take initiative, and exercise discretion and good judgment.
The position involves balancing multiple responsibilities while executing proficient oral and written communication.
JOB DUTIES: Payroll - bi-weekly payroll processing, pay adjustments, 401K adjustments, status changes, garnishments, etc.
Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs Maintain employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data Terminations Compile and keep personnel records Back up for other roles in the HR team Perform other duties, projects as assigned by supervisor POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
2-4 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal laws governing payroll processing and benefits.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Prior experience with Paycom is a strong plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables.
Solid analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain complete confidentiality.
Good judgment, creativity and positive attitude COMPENSATION: Starting Salary Range: $20.
00 to $25.
00 DOE Full Salary Range: $20.
00 to $28.

Days Off – Employees will accrue 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked, one personal day on the 1st of January each year and six paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
Other – Employees may be eligible for an annual bonus.
