Winery/Vineyard Accountant

*About us* Goose Ridge Estate Vineyards and Winery is a family-owned and operated winery dedicated to excellence in winemaking using all estate-grown grapes.
The vineyard is planted on a south-facing slope in Washington’s Columbia Valley adjacent to Red Mountain that consistently yields rich, ripe grapes.
The Monson family has farmed in the Columbia Valley for four decades and is known for their commitment to quality.
The Goose Ridge production facility is built on that tradition.
*Accountant* *Responsibilities* (include, but are not limited to): · Understands, communicates, and shares Company vision · Communicates and works closely with Ownership, Administration, and Winemaking team to help achieve goals · Collecting and analyzing data about companies operational costs · Setting standard costs for produced goods.
· Developing and analyzing costs standards · Account reconciliations and cash management · Continually assess companies processes & policies to make recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
· Manage company balance sheet · Advise executives & upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data · Support other company accountants *Requirements* · Cost accounting and Inventory background preferred · Wine production experience a plus.
· Bachelor's in Accountings or Business Administration * Quick books preffered accounting software Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.
00 - $65,000.
