JOB SUMMARY:
Business Administration & Integration (BA&I) is seeking an individual to join the Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) team responsible for the management of indirect rates, services provided to other Hanford contractors, funds management, and corporate reporting.
The grade for this position is predicated on the successful candidate's years of experience, skill, and educational level.
This position involves financial analyst and/or project controls related support.
Essential job duties of this position include: - Prepare an annual budget with Control Account Managers (CAMs) and technical experts and develop associated rates where applicable.
- Analyze actual costs for accuracy and validate labor, non-labor, accruals, and revenue.
- Work with CAMs to forecast current financial projections and review for reasonableness.
- Support service requests from OHCs and/or non-Hanford customers to include preparing estimates, reviewing actual cost, assisting with customer questions, and supporting invoice questions.
- Complete monthly financial reporting specific to assigned accounts/scope.
- Provide corporate reporting support to the BA&I Manager and Technical Advisor in forecasting and analyzing variance in cashflow, revenue and unallowable expenditures - Assist with the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs) and Quarterly Financial Status Reviews (QFSRs).
ENTRY LEVEL: - Under the direct supervision of the BA&I Manager and/or BA&I Technical Advisor and corporate reporting SME, provide the financial support listed (above) to other team members, applicable HMIS management, and OHC customers.
- Support miscellaneous data requests/tasks for corporate reporting.
- The complexity and volume of assigned accounts and scope will reflect entry level experience.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: - Under general supervision and in addition to the above job duties, provide the financial support listed above to applicable HMIS management and OHC customers.
- Use analytical skills to complete monthly responsibilities and provide analysis to BA&I management, corporate reporting lead, & technical CAMs/SMEs related to assigned scope.
- May be asked to mentor and provide training to entry level analysts.
- Gain a general understanding of corporate reporting and provide support to the lead & HMIS senior management.
- The complexity and volume of assigned accounts and scope will reflect the intermediate level experience required.
SENIOR LEVEL: - Under limited to no supervision and in addition to the above job duties, provide the financial support listed above to applicable HMIS management and OHC customers.
- Use analytical skills and decision-making skills to complete monthly responsibilities and provide analysis and recommendation to BA&I management and field/functional management regarding sound financial decisions (HMIS & Corporate).
- May be asked to mentor and provide training to entry level analysts.
- May be asked to review others' work for consistency and compliance with processes and procedures.
- Gain a full understanding of corporate reporting and provide support to the lead, including interaction with HMIS & Corporate senior management, and serve as a knowledgeable backup to the lead.
- The complexity and volume of assigned accounts and scope will reflect the senior level experience required.
Basic Qualifications ALL LEVELS: -Possess analytical and decision-making skills.
-Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service and team-work skills.
-Proficient with Office Suite of software applications.
-BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
ENTRY LEVEL: - BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field and 0-3 years of related experience - OR - an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: - BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5-6 years of related experience - OR - an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
SENIOR LEVEL: - BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field and 8+ years of related experience - OR - an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Desired Qualifications - Excellent/advanced Excel skills - Experience with rate development/management, budgeting, estimating, and financial reporting.
- Experience with the Hanford applications and/or similar financial management software programs: Crystal, PeopleSoft, Asset Suite, HANDI, COBRA, PMRS, VAIM, Cost Plan.
