The physicians are affiliated with the UW School of Medicine and/or Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Our affiliate, the Seattle Allergy & Asthma Research Institute (formerly ASTHMA Inc), conducts human subject research studies that contribute to developing improved treatments for allergy and asthma sufferers.
This role will involve working with patients of all ages.
You will assist with rooming patients, collecting vitals, and performing point-of-care testing associated with asthma and allergy care, including skin prick (scratch) and intradermal testing, patch testing, administering vaccines and allergy shots and performing lung function testing (spirometry and FENO).
On-the-job training and education will be provided.

Requirements:
We are seeking a candidate with the following:
Self-motivation, empathy, and stellar interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask
Enthusiasm and desire to participate as a team member and gain a variety of technical skills
A history of working in an outpatient setting, preferably in asthma/allergy, ENT, pediatric, or dermatology specialty offices
Current Washington State LPN or CMA license at the time of hire
Current Basic Life Support certification (CPR & First Aid cards)
