Receptionist/Intake Assistant (Kennewick)

The Receptionist/Intake Assistant position will perform diverse and multifaceted duties for the KHA.
Duties include answering multi-line phone system to screen and forward calls, record messages, greet and direct visitors, public, and clientele, provide accurate and efficient agency and housing program information to inquiries, provide general clerical support to the Intake/Eligibility Coordinator and other staff as assigned.
Position assists in maintaining the waiting list for admission of applicants to KHA’s housing programs and applicant must be able to work effectively and cooperatively with all staff.
Position is responsible for logging, stamping, sorting, and distributing mail.
The position will assist in processing housing program applications for federally subsidized housing programs and may provide assistance with online application system.
Staff member may review applications for eligibility, maintain housing program applicant waiting list(s), promote housing programs and services and, provide accurate and efficient agency information to inquiries.
Receptionist MUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH/SPANISH.
