*Job Summary* Provides daily administrative support to the Administration department and, as needed, other departments throughout Yellowhawk.
Duties will include, but are not limited to: performing routine office tasks; providing administrative support to the Health Commission; assisting with Public Relations tasks and duties; gathering necessary information/data; and assisting in all aspects of planning events for Administration.
May be required to work varying shifts to accommodate business needs.
All duties and responsibilities will be performed in accordance with the Yellowhawk Mission and Vision statements.
*Essential Job Functions:* 1.
Provides excellent customer service to everyone.
2.
Provides back up to the Administrative Operations Manager duties and functions.
3.
Provides administrative support to the CTUIR Tribal Health Commission by setting up meetings, preparing agendas and meeting packets.
4.
Attends Health Commission meetings, prepares and distributes minutes as appropriate and assists with follow-up on action items.
5.
Coordinates departmental and Health Commission purchasing following procurement procedures.
Keeps department stocked with necessary supplies and orders / procures when necessary.
Includes catering, and other logistics recommended and approved by the program manager.
6.
Provides administrative support to the Public Relations (PR) Manager with implementing marketing and promotion plans.
7.
Assists PR Manager coordination of production and distribution of Yellowhawk publications, newsletters, news releases, fact sheets, scripts, etc.
(in both print and electronically), reports and mailings as outlined in the Yellowhawk Publication and Print Policy.
8.
Uses information technology to collect, store and retrieve data and participates in program planning processes and report preparation.
9.
Using various Microsoft programs and office equipment, creates correspondence, prepares a variety of spreadsheets and reports and completes routine office tasks for various departments.
10.
Serves as a departmental backup, as appropriate, by performing temporary assignments to help support staff functions, to include but not limited to, answering phones and providing excellent customer service.
Cross training in various departments will be required on an as needed basis.
11.
Communicates both in writing and orally with all levels of employees, Tribal member and the general public with a high degree of professionalism and respect.
Communication will be both in person and through electronic means.
12.
Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, establish priorities and follow through on all assignments, with a high level of attention to detail.
13.
Participates in the continuous improvement of organizational performance.
14.
Composes and disseminates information accurately and timely to appropriate individuals as requested.
15.
Adheres to, employs and ensures ethical principles in the collection, maintenance, use, application and dissemination of data and information.
Incorporates ethical standards of practice as the basis of all interactions with Yellowhawk staff, organizations, communities, and individuals.
16.
Uses individual, team and organizational learning opportunities for personal and professional development.
17.
Other duties as assigned.
*Minimum Qualifications:* 1.
Associate’s degree in Office Administration with three (3) years progressively responsible experience to the work of this position.
OR High school diploma or equivalent, with four (4) years progressively responsible experience to the work of this position.
2.
Must possess or receive CPR and First Aid certification within ninety (90) days of employment.
3.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office programs and/or relevant software.

Demonstrated communication skills, i.
e.
, verbal and written.
5.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and high-level organizational, problem-solving and planning skills.
6.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain insurance requirements to operate General Services Administration vehicles.
7.
Must submit to and pass a reference and criminal background check.
8.
Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
9.
Must submit proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
*Preferred Qualifications:* 1.
Experience working in a Tribal community or Tribal organization.
2.
Experience working in a government setting with Administration, committee / board work.
3.
Familiarity with governing bodies.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,843.
92 - $56,692.
