Corteva has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Specialist to join our company at our Connell, WA, parent corn location.
VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position.

This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.
What You'll Do:
Ensure smooth administrative functions throughout the location.
Assist with hiring process and on boarding of new employees.
Coordinate development and implementation of business processes and records.
Ensure compliance with Corteva Agriscience Management System (CAMS); record retention, document control and overall compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Interpret and organize data in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets or presentations.
Maintain ongoing relationships with internal customers and external vendors.
Interface with multiple levels of staff on a regular basis.
Establish and maintain files, reports, and other hard copy or computerized information related to departmental operations.
Handle Time Data entry, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing for the site.
Assist with office supply ordering & other plant purchasing needs.
Support Continuous Improvement activities around Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
Perform other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
You have a high school diploma/GED.
What Skills You Need:
You have two or more years of administrative work experience and/or education.
You have great interpersonal skills that allow you to develop and maintain effective relationships.
You are experienced and confident in using Microsoft 365 office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
).
You possess strong oral and written communication skills.
You are analytical, so problem-solving, multi-tasking, prioritizing and the ability to work with deadlines comes easily for you.
You understand the importance of ethical behavior, so you are able to appropriately handle confidential information.
You are detail oriented and work well both independently and as part of a team.
You have experience in organizing and coordinating projects to ensure timely delivery/completion of work.
You are willing and able to work overtime as needed during peak seasons.
This is primarily a day shift position Monday through Friday but may require overtime occasionally to support business needs.
What Makes You Stand Out:
Project coordination experience.
SAP or similar systems experience.
A degree in business administration, office management or a related field.
2 years of experience in a leadership position.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $22.
80 - $28.
50 hourly.
This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role.
This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.
Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
