is seeking a Head of Clinical Operations, under the supervision of the Area Coordinator (AC) team.
The Head of Clinical Operations is responsible for the day to day management and smooth operations of the mental health and substance use disorder teams.
They ensure that the relevant Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR’S) are adhered to, monitor quality assurance, develop and monitor treatment protocols, conduct utilization review, provide supervisor, in-service trainings and may on occasion provide counseling to those accessing services.

The Requirements
Master’s degree in behavioral, social or human services related field; and a minimum five years’ experience in the delivery of clinical services, and three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
Licensure required.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable or carry insurance for client service purposes and for travel between business offices, the community and to attend required meetings and/or trainings.
Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.

Knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and addictions and principles of counseling.
The ability to use independent judgement, including finely developed decision making, planning, analytical and organizational skills.
Knowledge of administrative principals including budgeting, personnel, human resources and supervision.
Ability to communicate and coordinate well with a diverse population including staff members, professional consultants, agencies, customers and members of the general public.
Ability to understand, interpret and apply laws, regulations and administrative rules related to mental health and chemical dependency.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must have excellent typing skills, have knowledge of basic office software programs and ability to effectively use such software.
Essential Duties:
Provide supervision and conduct performance evaluations.
Works to resolve conflict, as appropriate, and provides positive leadership.
Work with AC and Behavioral Health Director to plan agency goals and objectives regarding delivery of treatment.
Provide supervision for other licensure candidates.
Ensure that the agency is meeting or exceeding all of the requirements for the relevant OAR’s as well as the clinical contractual requirements as required by Greater Oregon Behavioral Health (GOBHI) and other mental health organizations.
When needed, provide after-hours emergency services on a 24-hour, rotating basis to adults and children.
This includes telephone consultation and crisis intervention in the community.
Participate in the back-up supervisor on call rotation.
