WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE The Human Resources Coordinator will serve as a vital support mechanism to the Prosser, WA facility and provide support enterprise wide.
This role will serve as the day-to-day administrative and tactical duties in all human resources functional services to include the areas of employee relations, leave of absence, recruitment, policy and regulations, performance management, training and development supporting Prosser and Enterprise.
The Human Resources Coordinator will also serve as the Safety Coordinator for the site.
Communicate with managers and employees on a regular basis to establish rapport, gauge morals, and source new candidate leads.
Develop and execute recruiting plans for the season (May-November) Responsible for entire recruitment cycle for Prosser, WA Conduct regular follow-up meetings with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruitment plans and implementation.
Responsible for instituting employee engagement initiatives Maintain and administer employee performance review process.
New Hire Navex Scheduling Ensure 30,60,90s are being administered accordingly.
Administer Perfect attendance.
Review and approve attendance and disciplines to also support enterprise.
Review and analyze Kronos reports as required.
Security System set up for badges to include supporting other facilities.
Review on the cusp discipline with HR Manager to action plan Perform clerical duties: create and maintain reports, etc.
in accordance with company policies and procedures.
End to end process of ER Cases across the enterprise Assist with quality check of employee new hire paperwork as required.
Support in assisting customers and employees with questions or issues Develop, Implement, and communicate company policies, procedures and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws, OSHA, Workers’ Comp.
, and DOT regulations.
Conduct trainings informing employees of company health and safety practices and company plans.
Manage programs that ensure safe working conditions.
Conduct incident investigations and make sure records are properly filed.
Help facilitate companywide safety and health initiatives.
Attend local job fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
Work as the facilitator with temporary staffing agencies ensuring proper staff is order/received, etc.
Assist with companywide email alias, inquiries, disciplines, exit interviews, and terminations.
Aid and assist with companywide trainings, compliance, and Targeted Training Gaps Establish and sustain employee engagement activities such as Employee Appreciation Day, Holiday food drives, and community outreach.
Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree and/or 2+ years of experience in Human Resources Administrative experience within HR or related area would be a plus.
Valid Washington Driver’s License Additional Required Qualifications: Employee Relations investigations experience Effective oral and written communication skills Skills in database management and record keeping.
High degree of professional ethics and sense of fairness Must understand Labor Laws to ensure compliance.
Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
High degree of professional ethics and sense of fairness Excellent decision-making capabilities and ability to guide others towards making sound business choices.
Must have a keen understanding of Labor Laws to ensure compliance.
Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented.
Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
Good to excellent grammar and written communication skills Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials.
Establishing priorities and meeting deadlines Ability to work with individuals at all levels.
Ability to travel when business requires.
Bilingual- Fluent in Spanish, ability to read, write and speak.
