Job Duties/Scope Of Work
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides training program technical and logistics support for all HMIS organizations under the Hanford Mission Essential Services Contract, other Hanford contractors, and the Department of Energy (DOE).
Acts as a non-technical Database System Administrator backup.
Responsibilities typically include but are not limited to determining training needs, providing logistical support, establishing class schedules, scheduling instructors, preparing class documentation materials, and ensuring training records are compliant with project and facility-specific requirements.
Back-up support for the Learning Management System (LMS) System Administrator (non-technical).
* Meets with management to determine employee training needs and develop related training plans.
* Determines administrative, system, and collaborative support needed to ensure training programs support project deliverables.
* Interfaces with other site coordinators, subcontractors, and DOE to ensure students are enrolled in appropriate training.
* Performs administrative, system, and collaborative support during the development and design of training programs and services.
* Administers systematized tracking mechanisms that ensure accurate data reconciliation and completion of required training as well as maintenance of accurate data used for ad hoc and standard reporting.
* Organizes, schedules, and assigns instructors to all instructor-led training provided by HMIS Central Training.
* Coordinates scheduling and tracking of required training based on standard and facility-specific training requirements.
* Provides technical assistance to outside users of company training systems.
* Maintains knowledge of safety policies and procedures and performs assigned duties in a safe manner, and, if supervising others, has responsibility for the safety of those being supervised and ensures they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits.
* Supports operation of the Success Factors Learning Management System (LMS).
Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in a technical or related field - OR - an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Applicants within 3 months of graduation may apply and be considered for this position (If selected, any offer would be contingent on successfully completing the Bachelor's Degree program [related discipline] prior to the effective date of employment).
* 1-3 years of related experience.
* Must have demonstrated competency/experience in a Learning Management System (training) or other similar platform.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Demonstrated competency to communicate technical topics and terms effectively to the end-user.
* Knowledge of standards and requirements associated with electronic management systems designed to successfully capture and concatenate data used for required reporting.
* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
* Works well in a team environment and has excellent collaboration skills.
* Ability to use project management skills and complete projects by deadline.
* Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed to facilitate organizational milestones.
* Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate to peers and management.
* Knowledgeable of scheduling and training coordination functions, in accordance with detailed guidelines and established procedures.
* Displayed knowledge of providing logistical support and ability to apply techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related administrative and training tasks in support of new and prevailing training programs.
