This position will support Navarro-ATL.
Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy.
The Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc.
(Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).
Performs a variety of specialized administrative tasks in support of management and staff in Operations to include, but not limited to, creating and/or updating spreadsheets, tracking and monitoring data, and maintaining electronic and/or hardcopy files.
Responds to inquiries from internal and external contacts regarding general business operations, and policies and/or procedures.
Maintains sensitivity of confidential business or personal information.
Responsibilities:
Under general instructions candidate must be able to complete the following duties:
• Receive, screen, and provide assistance to 222-S Laboratory visitors, providing information and handling issues that may require sensitivity and the use of sound judgment; verify each visitor has signed in and out of the visitor logbook.
• Answer phones and arrange service calls for maintenance of copiers and special housekeeping requests - tracking to completion.
• Establish and maintain department files.
• Work with managers to coordinate resources for new employees.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with all employees.
• Refer matters to appropriate staff and/or management for further resolution and follow up as appropriate.
• Understand departmental and company policies, procedures, and practices.
• Act as an accountability aid for emergency preparedness.
• Maintain confidentiality and use tact, diplomacy, and practical knowledge in conducting daily work activities.
• Provide administrative support to the Operations and Maintenance teams:
• Maintain and update documents.
• Maintain the vehicle checkout process and reconcile records monthly.
• Maintain staff training/vacation calendars.
• Compile data and prepare weekly resource availability reports.
• Review daily report packets, obtain corrections, and send to records.
• Schedule meetings, including use of conference rooms.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma and 3-5 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Working knowledge of commonly used computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience as a Hanford Contractor administrative support provider.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.

Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week)
Grade 4: $43,125 - $54,375
Grade 5: $47,450 - $59,850
The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
In accordance with the Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc (Navarro) salary determination process, Navarro takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities and the candidate’s education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market.
A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
