*Base salary range $85k-$115k with signing bonus (eligibility DOE)*

*Who are we looking for?* Welch Comer Engineers seeks a full-time technically proficient Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) for our growing Spokane office that will be a key leader in assisting with project management, client management, and growth.
If you have a positive attitude, are entrepreneurial, and are looking for an opportunity for leadership and career development, this is the opportunity for you! *Required Education and Experience:* · PLS licensed in Idaho and Washington or the ability to achieve one or the other within 6 months · 10+ years’ experience with topographic surveying · 10+ years’ experience with right of way surveying · 10+ years’ experience with boundary resolution · A thorough understanding of Civl3d, MicroStation experience is a plus · A thorough understanding of Trimble Business Center · A thorough understanding of GPS surveying styles such as RTK and Static surveying · A great understanding of commonly used software relative to surveying and office work · Computer proficiency with Microsoft office products · Knowledge of engineering plans, specifications, practices, and methods · Experience managing field and office staff *Key Responsibilities:* · Assist in general marketing and proposals · Assist in the preparation of scoping documents, contract estimates and contract documents · Plan, organize, execute, and coordinate surveying services on assigned projects · Ensure projects are in accordance with the scope of services and budget · Maintain knowledge of survey procedures, quality control, and legal principles · Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing (internal and external) · Perform boundary and right of way resolutions · Must be able to manage numerous projects at a time · Provide guidance and expertise to field staff *Summary of offered benefits upon eligibility:* · Signing bonus (eligibility depending on experience) · Bonus paid each pay period equivalent to straight time hourly rate based on hours worked over 80 per pay period · Year-end bonus opportunity based on company profitability · Employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) · 401(k) plan with safe harbor matching · Health, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance · Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) · Short and long term disability · 8 paid Holidays · Paid time off · Wellness Program · Employee Assistance Program *Physical Demands:* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
