*Position: Aqua Fitness Instructor* *Department: Aquatics* *Reports to: Aquatics Director* *Pay Range: $15.
74-16.
24/hour depending on experience and qualifications* The Pacific Clinic, premier health and sports campus of the northwest, has an immediate need for an Aqua Fitness Instructor, Part Time, to join our team! The primary role of AquaticsFitness Instructors at Pacific Clinic is the commitment to improve the quality of people’s lives through activity, providing engaging exercise experiences that include all ages and fitness levels that result in fun, excitement and challenges that motivate and encourage attendees to keep coming back.
*Duties and Responsibilities:* ● Deliver a professional, positive and polished programming and presentation from beginning to end.
● Remain up to date with programming, follows set programming timelines (changes tracks following program guidelines) and seeks consistency among the team with delivery of program.
Maintains and builds upon skills and program knowledge.
● Connect with,engage and include participants through recognition, eye contact and body language.

● Report concerns to the Director in relation to equipment (missing or malfunctioning) and environment (temperature, cleanliness).
● Attends rehearsals, meetings, launches and other classes taught by teammates.
Successful candidates will be able to commit to 3-5 hours per week.
Part time benefits include full Clinic membership privileges for themselves and eligible dependents, including use of the jungle gym nursery (during usual business hours), discounts and quarterly guest passes! *Required Qualifications:* ● Must be 18 years of age ● Successful completion of training (as applicable) ● Possess or have the ability to obtain AEA and American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certifications within six(6) months of employment ● Ability to fulfill weekly scheduling requirements for assigned class teaching 80-90% of regularly scheduled classes throughout the year.
● Ability to attend a minimum of three (3) scheduled choreography sessions per year, and attend a minimum of one (1) of the scheduled launches per year.
● Must have the ability to sub for other members on the team as needed in addition to regularly scheduled class.
*Preferred Qualifications:* ● Education in exercise, health or fitness related field ● Aquatic Exercise Association Certification (or equivalent) *Interested candidates to apply through Indeed.
