The General Manager will have full financial responsibility for this account where Sodexo provides Resident Dining, multiple food retail venues, and robust Catering both on and off campus – from high end VIP dinners to weddings, conferences as well as campus meetings and functions.
This Hands-On Dining General Manager will be responsible for directly supervising both Front and Back of the House employees, and demonstrated history managing successful client relationships, Influencing a team to continuously deliver for our customers, and have a strong focus on student experience.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:
Bring 3 - 5 years of experience in a high-volume dining environment – university, hospital, large corporate or restaurant dining, contract management experience a plus!
Have a culinary background
Have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively
Have proven financial acumen, managing a large annual budget, forecasting etc and familiar with software applications to record unit figures and analyze to ensure meeting projections
Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills and passion for a high level of customer service
Demonstrate working knowledge of Food Management Systems (Sodexo FMS & DRIVE, TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience
