Hampton Inn Pendleton is conveniently located off I-84 and near the main attractions that drives travel through Pendleton.
This beautiful hotel is looking for a strong, results driven candidate for our available General Manager position.
The individual should be energetic, service oriented and able to cultivate a dynamic team atmosphere that encourages team members to create an exceptional guest experience, resulting in brand-leading scores.
The hotel requires a General Manager that excels in rate management and can make on-the-spot decisions using their innate judgment.
As the leader of the hotel, it is important that the candidate has a high level of professionalism when working with operations and sales to support their efforts and achieve goals.
The right fit will be a team player, as well as an outstanding team leader with hands-on type of management and exceptional communications skills.
Previous Hilton experience is a plus.
This is a salaried position, and the pay range is $50k-$65k per year depending on experience (DOE).
The right candidate must have a full availability to work a flexible schedule with any shift weekdays, weekends, & holidays.
*Qualifications*
* Hotel Management experience is required (Hilton knowledge and experience is a plus).
* Strong oral and written communication skills, organization, planning and attention to detail is a must.
* Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to maximize revenues and control expenses to meet financial objectives.
* Lead by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, professional, caring behavior towards both guests and team members.
* Must ensure the success of the hotel, through guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction and product quality standards and product quality standards are met.
* Must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays.
*Responsibilities*

* Coordinate, direct and manage day to day hotel operations.
* Motivate associates to exceed expectations of the guests; passionately uphold and elevate a positive work environment for all associates.
* Support and communicate company goals and initiatives, promote company programs, and act as an ambassador of the company.
* Ensure hotel operations are functioning within the financial parameters established by the company.
* Hire qualified associates, assemble skilled and cohesive teams, manage individual and team performance, provide developmental opportunities, and promote teamwork and cooperation.
* Maintain regular attendance and is consistently on time.
* Able to meet all deadlines regarding Brand and company standard.
* Provide a safe working environment.
* Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
*Requirements:*
* 3 years hotel guest relations management experience
* 1-year OnQ experience preferred
* Housekeeping knowledge
* Food service knowledge
* Microsoft including Outlook and Excel, Medallia, and Hilton University
* 3rd party OTA managing experience
