As the Vice President of Consulting (VPC), you will work closely with the Senior Vice President in leading the technical teams and working cross-functionally with other business units within NV5.
The VPC will have extensive experience in Radiation Protection services, leading operations (e.
g.
, teams, systems, projects), have assisted with implementing growth strategies, successfully created a positive work culture, and effectively developed high-functioning teams.
The VPC will have experience establishing and monitoring budgets, profitability, and growth.
The individual will have and understanding of how to develop meaningful goals and create accountability for their teams so that the business meets its performance objectives.
The VPC is someone who has an outstanding ability to motivate, engage, and drive collaboration with a desire to lead by example.

Responsibilities: A Day in The Life of the VPC: Mentor and lead the consulting divisions.
Oversee the implementation of the Dade Moeller Quality Management System.
Provide guidance and support to managers to ensure high-quality service delivery, schedules and goals are met.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish the strategic plan and budget for the consulting division.
Analyze financial data and trends to ensure effective allocation of resources and optimal budget utilization.
Conduct annual performance appraisals for consulting managers.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines is essential.
Write, develop, and review proposals.
Identify new clients and markets while leveraging and building existing client relationships.
Develop strategies and targets in alignment with the overall growth objectives of the consulting team.
Provide technical support to clients, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a technical field related to health physics, safety, industrial hygiene, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
(Health Physics preferred).
20+ years in management, technical services and programmatic experience.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all functional support areas and business units within NV5.
Deep financial acumen.
Previous experience managing a P&L Strategic planning and implementation.
Outstanding communicator with strong ability to communicate up and down throughout the organization.
Demonstrated ability to motivate others to achieve established business and sales objectives, and create a culture of achievement and professionalism.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to identify operational efficiencies and improvements.
Represent the firm and the leadership team professionally, internally and externally.
Demonstrate personal accountability and hold others to be accountable.
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree and a professional certification.
Experience in creating positive change and driving profitable organic growth within existing organizations.

The pay range for this Washington position is $170,000.
00- $180,000.
00 per year; based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate.
NV5 may provide restricted stock units, sign-on bonuses, stay bonuses, or relocation allowances as part of the compensation package.
Medical, dental, and vision insurance are also offered to full-time employees, along with Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts, with employee and employer contributions.
3 weeks of Paid Time Off a year for full-time employees along with 8 paid holidays a year.
