What you’ll do: The Brass Tacks • Maintain and manage all aspects of the landscape operations including ornamental plants, trees, shrubs, groundcovers, grasses, soils, hardscapes, and water features.
• Manage preparation of soil, planting, watering, fertilizing, trimming, and pruning.
• Oversee management of the irrigation system including adjustments and repairs.
• Ensures all equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Follows all appropriate policies and procedures.
• Ensure the security, cleanliness, preventative maintenance and repair of all department tools, equipment and safety features are in accordance with established procedures.
• Keeps accurate logs of equipment tests, repair and preventative maintenance activities, and safety inspections and activities.
• Ensure all work areas are kept in a clean and orderly manner and storing all tools, equipment, and spare parts in proper location.
• Ensures timely and courteous follow-through on all guest and team member requests.
• Keeps maintenance and engineering storerooms and workspaces clean and organized.
• Responsible to complete delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Reports and addresses unsafe conditions immediately.
• Other tasks as assigned.
The Nitty Gritty • At least 2+ years in a landscaping supervisory or managerial role.
• Must have a general understanding of landscaping.
• Must have knowledge and the ability to operate tools, hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations.
