Position Highlights The Umatilla and Morrow County Circuit Courts are hiring a Supervisor (Supervisor 3) to join its management team in Pendleton, Oregon.
The work you will do will help promote public awareness and education about Oregon’s courts, ensure its integrity through compliance of laws, rules, and policies, and facilitate people’s cases.
You will oversee the criminal, civil, and pretrial release departments, and work with the management team to help foster a harmonious work environment.
Supervising and training will be an important part of your day: you will assign, review, and evaluate employee work, supporting where needed.
You will also conduct performance reviews and discipline when necessary.
You will take part of all phases of recruiting, from creating and updating position descriptions to screening and hiring.
You will consult with the management team regarding ongoing projects and disseminate information to staff about changes in policy, procedure, and law.
You will also work with attorneys and the public to resolve issues and facilitate communication.
In doing your work, you will prepare data and review reports to aid with case management and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
Lastly, you will attend management team meetings, be a member of various committees, and partner with state agencies and businesses.
