Assistant Program Director

Objective: To work with the Program Director to support, enrich and expand the Recovery Ministry of the Tri City Union Gospel Mission.
Responsibilities (in cooperation with the Program Director):  Work with the Program Director to expand and implement the New Life Program  Teach Bible-based recovery and life skills classes  Engage clients in directed one-on-one conversations  Support and supplement chapel speakers  Promote the New Life Program among the general mission population  Provide accountability for New Life Program clients  Oversee East Wing maintenance and cleanliness  Provide ongoing communication to the Program Director Expectations:  Knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the ability to explain it to others  Ongoing commitment to a growing personal relationship with Jesus, including regular church attendance  Ability to engage clients in Bible-based Christian counselling  Ability to teach small group classes and preach in large group chapel setting  *Bilingual (preferred) *and/or the ability to serve cross-culturally  Relevant college degree and/or life experience in a similar setting  Flexible hours (some evenings and weekends) Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $17.
