JOB SUMMARY
The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for all building operations.
This includes building maintenance, sanitation, safety, improvements, point-of-sale (POS) management, accounts receivables, and other office managerial services.
Work closely with Pro Shop and F&B operations and manage Birch Creek memberships.
The clubhouse manager will also assist other departments with all entertainment and banquet events at the Grill at Birch Creek.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for building operations including the planning of facility improvements, remodeling, maintenance, and repair.
Perform ongoing facility inspections throughout the clubhouse, swimming pool, and on-course restrooms to ensure that cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and other standards are consistently attained.
Adhere to all required County and State codes.
Develop and implement an annual Clubhouse budget.
Ensure all daily office procedures and submission of invoices are done in a timely fashion while maintaining accurate records.
Supervision of custodial staff including hiring, scheduling, leave approval, performance counseling, evaluations, training, and development.
Manage Birch Creek golf membership and act as a liaison between members and Birch Creek Golf Course.
Manage the Golf Course at Birch Creek Account Receivables, this includes accounts for member programs, communicating with customers regarding their accounts, and ensuring aged trial balance ties to the Wildhorse Resort & Casino finance office.
Interacts with members, customers, and vendors.
Directs incoming calls appropriately and responds to customer inquiries.
Responsible for execution of all events or entertainment in the building, working with other departments (F&B, Banquets, and Sales) to ensure unity for events.
Oversee the Oregon Lottery Video Lottery including Machines and reporting requirements.
Responsible for ATM cash machine cash including cash levels and ATM reports to the finance office.
Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, to prepare reports and data for finance and food & beverage departments.
Manages and updates the POS software for F & B and member accounts.
Maintain an inventory list of all equipment in the clubhouse.
Provides a safe and secure environment for employees and guests, promptly addressing any risk or hazards.
Attend meetings and trainings as directed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years of related management experience.
Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Six (6) months of cash handling experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to work independently and be a self-starting problem solver.
Familiar with applicable federal, state, and county building codes and regulations.
Must have excellent computer skills with the ability to work with various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and be familiar with POS Software.
Effective communication skills – verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
Physically fit – able to stand and/or walk for long periods.
Able to lift and maneuver heavy items.
Must be reliable and available, which may include working weekends and/or holidays.
Excellent personal appearance/hygiene standards.
Valid state driver’s license and able to meet WRC insurance requirements.
Requires a criminal background check.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess Food Handler’s certificate and/or an OLCC certificate.
Two (2) years experience or training in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, building construction, building maintenance, or a similar field of work.
