JOB SUMMARY
Assists restaurant Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the Birch Creek Bar & Grill.
Oversees the dining room and staff to ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Promotes exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment at all times for employees and guests.
Promptly addresses hazards and reports them to Supervisor.
Supervision of staff to include assisting with performance coaching, counseling, conducting employee orientation, training, and staff scheduling.
Functions as working lead while assisting others in subordinate roles as needed: bartender, server, dishwasher, food expediter, etc.
Accurately records guest food and drink orders and promptly relays them to the needed area through POS.
Recognizes when orders are ready and promptly delivers to the table ensuring all needed condiments, sides, flatware, etc.
are present.
Remains attentive to guests during their meal for beverage refills, needed condiments & desserts to ensure overall satisfaction.
Presents checks to guests, collects payment, and return precise change when applicable.
Communicates with guests and staff in a professional and timely manner.
Enforces all Clubhouse Bar & Grill beverage service regulations, and health and safety issues for both employees and customers by WRC Alcohol Policy and OLCC Policies and Procedures.
Assists with and maintains updated training manuals, policies, and procedures for areas of responsibility.
Assists in training staff and monitors their handling of drinks and food, ensuring consistency of recipe, product, and presentation.
Assures proper controls are in place to protect all property used in the service of alcohol.
Assists with monthly inventory reporting.
Complies with employee handbook, applicable laws, department policy and procedure, safety codes, etc.
Identifies areas needing improvement and develops strategies that can be implemented.
Keeps open communication with Supervisor and staff members to ensure smooth operation.
Promotes a positive work environment.
Knowledgeable about property amenities to ensure a high level of customer service.
Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years of experience as a bartender or server.
One (1) year of supervisory experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Possesses working knowledge of various wines, distilled spirits, and beer.
Must have a dependable work history and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
Excellent interpersonal, guest service, leadership, communication, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required.
Verbally able to provide instruction professionally.
Physically able to: stand and or walk for long periods; performs repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; able to bend, lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds; and balances, carries, and maneuvers large trays at shoulder height.
Good visual and auditory acuity.
Able to respond clearly and appropriately.
Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
Must possess or obtain Food Handlers and OLCC server permit within 30 days of employment.
Must be able to pass a criminal history background check.
Must be 21 years of age.
