Job Summary:
This position is responsible for supervising all maintenance team members, and keeping hotel current with all building and operating permits and licenses.
Work with outside vendors on various projects.
Mentor, teach and train maintenance team members in all skills required to maintain facility.
Facilitate safety committee meetings.
Prepare budgets and bids for repair projects throughout facility.
Duties:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure the efficient operation of all equipment and systems
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to guest experience
- Oversee the repair and troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions, ensuring timely resolution
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and preventative maintenance schedules
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and supplies, ordering replacements as needed
