Job Description Summary Lamb Weston, Inc.
is seeking an energetic, passionate, and driven leader with a history of proven results, to assist in the implementation and expansion of veLOCity, our TPM based continuous improvement program.
The person holding this position will gain an overall understanding of veLOCity, and expert level knowledge of the tools, standards and systems of the Focused Improvement (FI) Pillar.
They will work with the Director of Continuous Improvement, other Global Pillar Leaders and company personnel to build organizational capability in the use of these tools, systems and standards to achieve business objectives.
Job Description The intent of veLOCity is to create a continually improving, high performance, world class supply chain organization where everyone is learning and able to perform to their full potential.
veLOCity Global Pillar Leaders support this endeavor by ensuring that sound continuous improvement standards and systems are deployed and by raising the capability and skills of individuals within the workforce.
Position Responsibilities: To teach, coach and support Plant FI Pillar Teams and Project Teams on structured problem-solving methods including root cause analysis, and to share best practices across all LW sites.
·To conduct data mining and statistical analysis at a corporate level to support initiatives sponsored by the Supply Chain Sr.
Leadership Team.
·To teach, coach and demonstrate the methods, tools, and benefits of data analytics in understanding losses and complex problems.
·To work with the Lamb Weston Finance Team to understand and communicate the full value of losses and improvement initiatives.
·To develop and maintain Pillar Systems and Standards Documentation and Teaching Material.
·To conduct FI Pillar assessments and health checks in manufacturing facilities and ensure that FI methodologies are consistently applied.
·To track and communicate platform progress and results from FI initiatives Basic & Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated passion for Continuous Improvement.
·Six Sigma Black/Green Belt and/or Lean Certification.
·Five or more years of Change Leadership and Process Implementation with Demonstrated Results.
·Effective communication skills with experience in coaching, training and adult learning.
·Demonstrated success in Building and Leading Effective Teams.
·Ability to combine initiative, integrity, and professional discipline to accomplish difficult tasks in a collaborative manner·Data driven; must be able to understand and explain business metrics and performance variances.
·Understanding of statistical analysis concepts and experience with tools such as Minitab.
·Superior organization, time-management and prioritization.
·Demonstrated Project Management skills including detailed root cause analysis, and ability to coach and support multiple projects simultaneously.
·Ability and eagerness to learn veLOCity Philosophies and Methods and teach others.
·Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the food industry.
·A willingness for up to 30% overnight travel.
·Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Industrial Engineering preferred.

Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise.
A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor.
A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $107,390.
