Job Description Summary The Sr.
Product Lead Agriculture will be an important contributor to support the Global Agriculture Application Portfolio.
Job Description Position Responsibilities: Responsible for significant enterprise, global applications and may have other medium sized applications with smaller application oversight Oversight of active projects related to their applications Plan the technology roadmap for each application including Global expansion of the applications Responsible for full application management which includes enhancements, upgrades, vendor coordination, and integration coordination Manages all contracts (existing and new) related to assigned applications Responsible for oversight of assigned team members duties for each application/active project assigned May supervise employees and contractors Coordinates Quarterly Business Reviews for their assigned applications Works with all necessary teams to proactively ensure the overall health of the application and underlying infrastructure including upgrades, monitoring, and maintenance Incorporates ITIL best practices in delivering exceptional customer support Drives user adoption of assigned applications and educates existing users on new features Champions expansion (breadth of business capabilities) of key applications by working with Business Relationship Managers and Architecture Identify and execute on opportunities within our application portfolio Partners to create and maintain user groups for assigned applications in partnership with business leads Support of the Global Agriculture Application Portfolio: ExtendAg, Agrian, Grade Star, other agriculture applications as defined Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the organization to drive results.
Other duties as assigned Basic & Preferred Qualifications Position Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred 10+ years of experience in an applications development environment 4+ years of project/product lead experience Supervision experience preferred Can manage all types of applications – homegrown, on premise, SaaS, iPaaS, etc.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in software solutions thru writing code or configuring existing systems Ability to construct, configure, install and maintain complex application and system software Experience with translating business requirements into technical solutions/plans for engineers Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written Some travel may be required, including International Industry-Competitive Benefits Coupled with our compensation and bonus incentive programs, our benefits deliver rewards that are market competitive.
