General Summary
The City of Richland seeks a committed, decisive leader who can support and enhance the positive direction that currently exists within the department to serve as its next Chief of Police.

A master's degree and/or advanced training (such as the FBI National Academy) is preferred.
Ten (10) years progressively responsible experience in police services, with a minimum of six (6) years in a senior management capacity.
Must be current law enforcement.
Applicants separated out of law enforcement for more than 24 months will not be considered for this position.
An equivalent combination of related training, education, and experience may be considered.
