As Fiscal Manager, you will be responsible for providing general oversight of monetary reporting and audit of subcontract and subrecipient agencies to ensure fiscal compliance with contractual and funder requirements.
You will also be responsible for managing the daily finance and accounting activities of the organization.
You will work closely with the CFO to provide timely and accurate information to operate the organization.
The successful candidate will provide supervision to finance and contract coordinators.
*_Financial and Accounting Management_*
* Oversees financial management, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting
* Manages the daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting; works closely with the grants manager
* Ensures compliance with all grant laws and regulations, including those related to federal, state and local non-profit corporations
* Manages the audits with the CFO; coordinates and manages the annual audit process; prepares financial statements and supporting schedules;
* Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures; works with CFO to establish and maintain standard accounting policies and procedures to allow for timely and accurate reporting of financial information
* Processes and audit timesheet
* Administers financial and accounting systems and software; works with outside vendors to select and implement appropriate and scalable finance and accounting software
*_Grants Financial Management_*
* Embeds early in the project/grant onboarding process as a partner to the Finance and Contracts Coordinator and Project Manager to ensure finance and accounting elements are clear and able to be captured and tracked
* Monitors data on budget drawdown, cash flow, per grant requirements
* Prepares monthly income and expenditure reports
* Coordinates with Finance and Contracts Coordinator and Project Manager to stay within budgets/cash management
* Tracks direct grant expenditures
* Tracks the status of grant receipt, reporting, invoicing, and payments received in shared cloud platform for accurate financial reporting
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.
g.
, Business Administration, Finance, Non-Profit Management), or equivalent experience
* At least 4 years’ experience in accounting management and financial administration, preferably in a non-profit organization
* Strong Excel and financial data management skills, MS Office 365 Software Suite, required
* Quickbooks Online or MIP Avila or equivalent financial accounting software, required
* Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse partners
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple, often tight, deadlines and priorities

Pay: $78,157.
