Overview:
The purpose of the Environmental Protection and Regulatory Programs (EPRP) Division is to enable the science and technology mission(s) of the Laboratory by assessing and controlling the impact of Laboratory activities, research and development projects, and facilities on the environment, public, and employee health and safety.
EPRP performs regulatory analysis, implements and monitors compliance with permits, and develops Laboratory systems to assist staff in achieving compliance and demonstrating excellence with respect to environmental, emergency preparedness and transportation requirements.

Click Here For Rockstar Rewards Responsibilities: Responsible for developing and delivering, tools and processes to support Laboratory staff in using personal property assets to meet mission needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsible for providing expertise and services to meet the entire lifecycle of personal property assets.
Provides subject matter expertise and offers business advice and services to management and staff to ensure compliance with applicable federal laws, regulations, policies and good business practices.
Position will work with outside vendors to ensure government assets are retired in a manner that meets all disposition requirements.
Responsible for performing Asset Management functions including property receiving, tagging, asset usage through the asset lifecycle and inventory.
The incumbent is considered the subject matter expert and will use that expertise to deliver Property Management tools and processes that effectively manage property through its life cycle.
The incumbents in this position will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement by monitoring performance metrics.
Provide direction to craft labor to enhance efficiencies and Safety.
Ensure property leaving the Lab meet regulation associated with toxic hazardous and High Risk.
Coordinate and schedule complex of dispositions large unique pieces of property.
This position will be a key point of contact for Property Management; therefore, excellent communication, relationship management, and customer service skills will be required.
The incumbent is expected to interact with custodians by personal contact, phone and e-mail.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: BS/BA and 9+ years of relevant work experience -OR- MS/MA and 7+ years of relevant work experience -OR- PhD with 5+ year of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication skills both verbal and written are desirable Must be willing to work as a team member and be willing to work cross-functionally across the Lab Expertise of Federal Property Management Regulations Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS), Certified Fleet Manager Must have a high level of initiative and demonstrate skills as a proactive problem solver and be able to interact positively with all levels of staff in the execution of job responsibilities Hazardous Working Conditions/Environment: Not applicable.
