Job Overview:
The Practice Manager is responsible for performing managerial duties, including, but not limited to, human resource and financial management; oversee daily operations; provider credentialing with hospitals and professional affiliations; vendor contracting; lease management and suite maintenance; maintain office policies and procedures; maintain professional work environment; establish appropriate lines of communication between staff, providers and patients; clinic marketing; and overall maintain a functional and efficient clinic.
*PRIMARY DUTIES*
*Administration:*
* Establish, review, clarify and enforce office policies and procedures.
* Oversee all facility issues, including allocating expenses, lease agreements, and suite maintenance.
* Manage all service vendors including but not limited to malpractice insurance, property/casualty insurance, bank, telephone/voicemail vendors, equipment vendors, and computer vendors/support.
* Serve as Liaison between bank & retirement and accountant, attorney, and professional associations.
* Hold regular partner, provider, and staff meetings including preparation of all agendas, educational/supporting materials and meeting minutes.
* Purchase all office & medical supplies and equipment including copier, computers.
* Administer compliance for all federal and state compliance regulations.
* Address/answer any complaints or issues from staff, providers and/or patients.
* Arrange all office events (holiday parties, etc.
)
* Responsible for provider credentialing and re-credentialing ensuring all providers are up to date and licenses are current.
* Have a good working knowledge and proficiency in all department, positions and job duties.
Collaborate with clinic supervisory staff to ensure the delivery of quality, productive and efficient services & systems.

* Oversee Electronic Medical Records
* Assure proper maintenance of all office equipment.
* Coordination with the Building Management on repairs & maintenance of building as needed.
*Human Resources/Personnel*
* Recruiting, hiring and terminating employees as necessary.
* Counsel employees on policies and procedures.
* Maintain and update employee personnel files.
* Responsible for delegation of work and staffing hours, ensuring the staff have the tools needed to complete their respective duties.

* Perform annual performance reviews, including determining merit raises as appropriate.
* Compile and review job descriptions, updating as appropriate.
* Establish position cross-training.
* Renew, enroll and administer all employee benefit plans.
* Responsible for overall employee morale: consistency and fairness are key.
* Maintain all personnel records with all required forms complete and up to date license verification.
* Determine work flow and change assignments and job descriptions as needed.
* Approve employee time off and make necessary arrangements for coverage.
* Address all employee grievances.
* Resolve and overcome all personnel and personal conflicts.
* Work to maintain a steady level of employee moral, with positive feedback.
* Ensure open lines of communication between all employees and providers.
* Update and distribute policy changes.
* Enforce compliance of state and federal employment law.
* Notify the appropriate agencies for of all newly hired employees.
* Manage quarterly and yearly tax filings for staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.
00 - $85,000.
