Alternative Nursing Services is seeking an Assistant Director of Training & QA to support our 7 offices in Eastern Washington/ North Central Idaho.

provides in-home care services to 500+ clients, helping the elderly and disabled to age in place with their dignity and grace.
The ideal candidate will be based out of Spokane, Pullman, Kennewick, or Yakima Washington.
Candidates based in Lewiston, Moscow, or Northern Idaho will also be considered.
The Assistant Director of Training & QA will work under the supervision of the V.
P.
of Operations & QA to develop, implement, and facilitate training and quality assurance programs for our in-home care services operation.
This position requires 60%-80% travel in Eastern Washington & North-central Idaho.
A company car will be provided for business travel.
This position is also responsible for fill-in duties for vacant agency positions (Scheduling/HR/Home Care Coordinator) throughout Eastern Washington & North Central Idaho Branch Locations as needed.
The Assistant Director of Training & QA will be tasked with creating and documenting operations training manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP), and assisting the V.
P.
of Operations in monitoring compliance within the agency Quality Assurance Program.
This position will ensure training and procedures are aligned with requirements of the agency, state & federal requirements.
The leadership team will expect this individual to innovate and improve processes to help streamline overall business objectives.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with assigned branch locations.
* Operate with high personal and corporate integrity.
* Perform ongoing training with onboarding new staff, including field and remote training.
* Provide coaching to agency branch administrative staff.
* Assist VP of Operations & QA with annual audits (Washington & Idaho)
* Remain abreast of the procedure and the ability to cover any office position that becomes vacant such as scheduling coordinator, client care coordinator or Office coordinator during the vacancy and training on newly hired staff.
* Must be personable and able to adapt to a variety of personalities.
* Effectively engages and collaborates with people outside of direct functional area of responsibility.
* Communicates effectively in clear, thorough and timely manner through all means, including active listening and professional body language.
* Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* Required - Minimum age of hire is 25 years old due to vehicle rental/lease agreements as required.
* Required - Valid/current state issued driver's license and proof of valid personal vehicle automobile insurance
* Required - Minimal driving violations (DMV Driving History Report)
* Willing and able to travel 60% - 80%
* 3+ years of home care or other long term care experience
* College degree or equivalent experience required
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient with MS Suite, advanced knowledge in spreadsheet, database and presentation development applications
* As this is a fast-paced environment with changing requirements, job flexibility is a necessity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.
00 - $70,000.
