JOB DESCRIPTION
The position of Warehouse Lead will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse responsibilities and directing the warehouse workforce.
This position will coordinate receiving and distribution of district supplies, materials, and equipment.
They will oversee the supply order process and coordinate all deliveries throughout the district.
They will manage all sanctioned moves, including furniture, equipment, and supplies, throughout the district.
This position requires you to work closely with the Nutrition Service department to provide delivery support to all district locations during the school year and summer feeding program.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Previous experience in all aspects of warehousing.
Forklift certification with at least 5 years of practical experience.
Leadership experience that includes preparing daily schedules and directing the workforce.
Possess a clear understanding of food safety regulations including sanitization standards, temperatures for storing, staging, and delivering food to prevent food-borne illness.
Must uphold board policies and follow administrative procedures.
Must take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
Must attend in-service training courses or other meetings as required, as well as attend any training as directed by management.
Evidence of ability to assess and correct issues involving safety.
Evidence of ability to establish and maintain a tactful, cooperative, and effective relationship with students, parents, staff, fellow employees, and management.
Must demonstrate sufficient command of the English language to communicate verbally and in writing with students, parents, district staff members and other concerned people regarding all aspects of their job-related activities.
Evidence of positive evaluations/recommendations.
Evidence of excellent attendance, punctuality, dependability, and self-discipline.
Must be able to use basic computer programs to maintain records, enter timecard information and read and respond to email.
Physically able to do required work, which could include heave and sustained pushing, pulling, lifting and frequently moving up to 75 lbs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Direct the workforce, spot check order processing for accuracy, and schedule all warehouse daily duties.
Receive, verify, and store all incoming food and supplies.
Coordinate deliveries of food, supplies, equipment, mail, interdistrict mail, and packages district wide.
Respond efficiently to frequent emergency job-related requests, while maintaining a positive disposition.
Master the work order system to ensure all requests are routed correctly and completed in a timely manner.
Receive all incoming packages and route delivery through our tracking system software.
Oversee sorting and distribution of pony mail throughout the district.
Organize warehouse, maintain product signage, and facilitate monthly inventory counts for Nutrition Services, Custodial and Paper supplies.
Ensure all food products are handled, stored, and delivered in compliance with standards set by the FDA and local health authorities.
Oversee Fixed Asset system.
Coordinate the move of district furniture, fixtures, equipment, and related items from one district location to another.
Train new employees in all aspects of warehouse work.
Perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
Communicate and collaborate with Assistant Warehouse Lead and Purchasing Manager.
Respond to after-hours emergency refrigerator and freezer calls.
Facilitate coverage of daily duties in the Assistant Warehouse Lead’s absence.
