Banek Winegrower Management is looking for a vineyard manager to join our team and help lead farming operations at assigned vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley and Rocks District in Milton Freewater, OR.
We are a small company that develops and farms over 300 acres of established vineyards in the area.
*Duties and Responsibilities**:*
This person is responsible for all activities for assigned, including but not limited to the following; other duties may be assigned.
· Take soil, tissue, and viral samples as needed and assisting in monitoring crops for disease and pests.
· Assist in monitoring plant water status.
· Plan and hold monthly safety meetings
· Maintain Vit data for client vineyards.
· Maintain chemical inventory, spray records, and MSDS files.
· Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance skill set and knowledge base.
· Present a professional image to our clients in all interactions (verbal, computer, and face-to-face) through personal appearance and overall demeanor.
· Follow all safety rules and regulation while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and direction by employee handbook.
· Special projects as assigned.
· Update Website and Social Media.
· Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner

· Highly organized, ambitious and ready to learn.
· Multi-tasking skills
· Solid computer skills (Word, & Outlook, Google Earth)
· Must have a valid Driver’s License.
· Excellent planning and organizational skills as well as the ability and desire to be a team player
· Must be capable of working effectively, even without constant supervision
*Education and Experience:*
· Bachelors Degree in Science or equivalent work experience.
· Commercial Pesticide Applicators license (can test within the first year of employment)
· Knowledge of Ag Systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.
00 - $20.

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
