Communications and Outreach Manager - Job Description Broetje Family Trust is an association of three foundations collectively stewarding a family legacy of "bearing fruit that will last" through servant leadership, community building, and philanthropy.

The Communications and Outreach Manager is a public face for the Trust, responsible for guiding the strategies we use to share about the purpose and impact of our collective work across initiatives and to engage our local community and like-minded organizations in dialogue and participation to facilitate deeper learning and collaboration.
The Communications and Outreach Manager will report to the Director of Vista Hermosa Foundation.
This full-time, in-person position is located in Pasco, WA.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Update and implement the Trust's communications and outreach strategy, both written and verbal.
Create and maintain updated content for websites and social media across a number of initiatives.
Develop relationships with like-minded groups and organizations and host regular activities at Leo Center, as a hub of learning and engagement.
Ensure regular online email newsletters and blogs, managing a calendar of events, messaging priorities, and deadlines.
Develop capacity of staff across the Trust to generate content, tell stories, and ensure the same messaging and branding guidelines are met.
Collaborate to draft press releases, brochures, and other external communications as needed.
Support management and maintenance of all public wall displays to keep content current and educational for staff and public.
Supervise Media Coordinator to capture, edit and archive images and create content.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on communication needs.
Desired Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in communications content creation and strategy implementation, including a variety of formats (written, video, graphic design, social media, etc.
) Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on storytelling.
This includes editing skills.
Excellent facilitation skills, including hosting, mentoring, and teaching others in communications skills Proficiency in WordPress, Mailchimp, Microsoft Teams and Office Suite Proficiency in a variety of graphic design platforms and data trend tracking Knowledge and experience with video production preferred Fluency in Spanish language preferred A high level of comfort working in a faith-inspired organization alongside people of all backgrounds Salary and benefits This is a full-time, salaried position with salary range of $70,000-80,000.
Benefits include paid time off and sick leave, medical, dental and vision insurance, and 401k plan (after 90 days of service).
