This individual will provide leadership for the Product Specialist teams in each region.
This individual will focus on ensuring our field teams are experts in the product lines RDO Equipment represents to maximize profitability and markets share as well as develop Value Added Services and customer service practices to ensure RDO Equipment continues to be the leader in the markets we represent.
The individual will also represent RDO as the Integrated Solutions Manager for John Deere.
Specific Duties Include:
Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of the region.
Direct and motivate a team to accomplish the company's objectives.
Increase market share and profitability for the stated range of products within the geographic area.
Fill the role of Integrated Solutions Manager for the John Deere FarmSight strategy.
Promote, sell and ensure execution of Value Added Services.
Help ensure the execution the John Deere FarmSight strategy of using technology to provide maximum value for our customers and to build loyalty.
Develop relationships and network throughout the industry to monitor and participate in all product activities.
Know the market and where the future challenges would be and help determine how to best address those challenges.
Create opportunities by evaluating internal and external customers need and applying practices to address those needs.
· Proactively work with locations to ensure demonstration strategy is executed properly.
Work with Store and Sales Management to coordinate and help execute promotional events such as field days, clinics, and farm shows.
Track all activities in company provided systems.
Communicate regularly with store/branch managers and sales professionals and all other store personnel to share information on activity within their regions.
Be a primary channel of communication for Product Line and AMS product technical and commercial issues with our manufacturing partners.
Be an active and highly visible participant in industry groups and events and keep abreast of competitive activity and competitive products.
Always seek additional sales, parts and service opportunities for company and reporting those prospects to the appropriate parties.
· Work with location managers to determine gaps and areas of opportunity for training.
· Help develop training for internal and external customers.
Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
Prepare reports for business transactions and keep expense accounts.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn.
Follow all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager and assist other department personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
Attend required company meetings and participate in constructive discussion.
Participate in any and all appropriate training.
Conduct self in the presence of customers so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of our industries
Must be able to work independently
Travel between stores by automobile and by air
Valid driver's license and insurable record required
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Instructing of training in front of large groups of people
Good computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint
Previous supervisory/management experience preferred
Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.
S.
without company sponsorship.
