This position will oversee the Housekeeping department at two properties (Oxford Suites Hermiston & Oxford Suites Pendleton).
POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Area Executive Housekeeping Manager is to oversee the housekeeping operations of two properties within our hotel portfolio.
This position will collaborate closely with existing housekeeping leadership teams to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
As the Area Executive Housekeeping Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance housekeeping services across both properties.
This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of hospitality industry standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.
Strategic Planning and Coordination (30%): Develop and implement a unified housekeeping strategy aligning with organizational goals.
Collaborate with on-site housekeeping managers for effective coordination and execution.
Foster open communication channels between the area office and individual hotel housekeeping teams.
Collaborate with other department heads to address cross-functional challenges and ensure seamless operations.
Collaborate with on-site managers to develop and manage housekeeping budgets for each hotel.
Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide guidance on budgetary matters.
Optimize staffing levels and resource allocation based on occupancy rates and property-specific needs.
Coordinate with on-site managers to address resource requirements and challenges.
Standardization of Processes (30%): Ensure adherence to standardized housekeeping procedures and policies across all hotels.
Facilitate training sessions to address variations in processes and standards.
Manage relationships with vendors for cleaning supplies and amenities at the area level.
Work with on-site managers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely procurement.
Provide support and resources for ongoing training and development initiatives led by on-site housekeeping leadership.
Facilitate sharing of best practices and industry trends among the housekeeping teams.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing changes to enhance housekeeping operations.
Performance Analysis and Improvement (15%): Analyze housekeeping performance metrics from each hotel.
Work with on-site managers to identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies.
Quality Assurance and Guest Satisfaction Management (15%): Monitor and ensure consistent quality of cleanliness and maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces.
Collaborate with on-site managers to conduct regular inspections and address issues promptly.
Oversee the resolution of guest concerns related to housekeeping across all hotels.
Work with on-site managers to implement corrective actions and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
Other (10%): Communicate effectively with all hotel staff to ensure smooth delivery of services.
Coordinate with frond desk, maintenance staff and General Manager on things requiring attention.
Participate in MOD program.
May drive company van.
Other duties as necessary.
