As the Technical Support Supervisor, in Richland, WA, you will be part of a proven team in the Component Center in the Fuel Business Unit.
Your work will include supporting the Mechanical Product Development team to provide manufacturing feedback and lead the Component Center Technical Support team in following areas: identifying ergonomic and processes improvements, developing/qualifying new processes, manufacturing/automation implementation of equipment, evaluation/disposition of manufactured components, prepare manufacturing procedures and review of component drawings.
Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.
This position requires occasional travel.

The Component Center is responsible for manufacturing upper and lower tie plates for nuclear reactor fuel assemblies as well as manufacturing small components associated with fuel rods and tie plates.
The manufacturing environment is highly automated, which includes brazing, welding/assembly, and multiple Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programmed machines performing the majority of shop work.
Very stringent quality requirements are associated with the manufacture of components to be used in commercial nuclear reactor fuel assemblies.
These include exact tolerances, strict material control and traceability, extensive process qualification and comprehensive cleanliness control requirements.

com/advantages/ Your Total Rewards Package The range of base salary for the position is between $116,000 - $158,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits.
Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
