Columbia Energy and Environmental Services, an established small business headquartered in Richland, WA, which offers full-service engineering, design, fabrication, instrumentation and controls, and technology development.
We are focused on the pursuit and execution of fixed-priced design/build/test projects for federal and commercial clients.
Columbia Energy currently has an opening for a Project Manager with industrial metal fabrication experience.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Support sales team in review, evaluation, and development of resource estimates for project proposals.
Manage fabrication and testing projects from inception through delivery, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, testing, packaging and delivery.
Developing detailed project schedules that reflect resource availability, customer needs, and company priorities.
Interface with clients in a concise professional manner.
Work closely with internal resources to ensure Quality, Cost, and Schedule performance of the project.
Lead projection execution team to anticipate and resolve problems/issues that impact the success of assigned projects.
Ability to work safely in office and shop environments and have a safety focus in all aspects of assigned roles.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Able to effectively work with and communicate with customers and staff.
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience managing fabrication and testing projects.
Demonstrated experience balancing priorities to achieve desired business outcomes.
Demonstrated history of working effectively on teams comprised of Engineers, Technicians, and Craftspeople.
Technical degree preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications & Attributes:
Project management experience with Department of Energy Projects.
Expertise in some portion of fabrication, testing, and inspection methods.
Broad understanding of industrial fabrication means and methods, including welding processes and fabrication equipment.
Self-starter with the ability to focus on project needs and delivery schedules while supporting business objectives.
Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
Willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills while contributing to project teams.
