We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Chief Financial Officer to join our fast-growing team.
Our law firm desires to expand its operations into rural areas within several states/jurisdictions.
This senior executive will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the firm as well as overseeing and maximizing its operational health.
The CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from basic accounting to broad investment, banking operations, productivity/efficiencies, and financial forecasting for a PI law firm.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all departments will be under their command operationally.
The goal is to protect the firm's revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.
Compensation:
$130,500
Responsibilities:
Direct or coordinate the organization's financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency
Confer with executive team, organizational management, or staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities, evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities of business to ensure continuing operations, sustained growth, and increased productivity
Prepare or present reports concerning activities, expenses, budgets, government regulations or rulings, or other items affecting business operations
Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the company's operations
Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance to help others improve knowledge, skills, and productivity
Qualifications:
Proven experience as CFO, finance officer, or relevant role
In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law, federal regulations and risk management practices
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
Ability to strategize and solve problems
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and people skills
CPA is a strong advantage
BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
